Utah, New York City, and the Bay Area, California. Emily grew up dancing and playing piano and received a degree in music therapy from Utah State University. With her love of music and choreography, she started teaching cycling and fell in love! Since then, she has continue
d to learn and teach various formats such as TRX, myofascial release, personal training, boot camps, strength training, mat Pilates, and barre. She loves the barre experience, as it brings her back to her roots of dancing. Emily’s has been described as an instructor who challenges you,
but is positive and encouraging in the process.
Emily loves making food from scratch, attending cultural events, hiking, and jamming on guitar, piano, and mandolin. She currently works as a board certified music therapist visiting hospice patients in the Salt Lake and Layton areas, and also plays in a cover band. Her passions are music and fitness, and she is honored to be pursuing these passions at Mountain Yoga.
