Hallie became a student of yoga after hanging up her ballet slippers in her teens. She became a teacher when a friend asked her the simple question, “Why don’t you teach?” 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Assets aligned well with her Transpersonal Counseling Psychology degree from the Buddhist-oriented Naropa University. The blend of Yoga asana, philosophy, authentic sharing, and body metaphor creates a holistic class where she encourages you to draw from to create your own experience.
Hallie teaches a vinyasa flow with yin sprinkles. Her classes are both grounded and fun. Hallie also leads a Yoga for Grief and Healing class which brought her awareness of how Yoga transforms and how having a light heart can move you. Winters will find her teaching skiing at Alta and most days, she’ll be at the park with her husband, children, and English Springer Spaniel then reading late into the night.
The common theme Hallie receives in praise for her class is: “She always encourages people to go at their own pace and creates a safe, non-judgmental environment.” “Hallie is a great teacher, she is very open and inviting and always makes everyone feel welcome and accepted.”
