Megan Giddings

The first time Megan ever stepped onto a mat was at the age of sixteen, when her father began practicing yoga once a week at the house. She joined him and instantly fell in love with the practice. As a lieutenant of her high school dance team at the time, she began leading “Yoga Fridays” during both her junior and senior years as a result of this newfound passion.

After receiving her RYT-200 certification at the University of Utah in the summer of 2014, Megan has dedicated her life to studying meditation and mindfulness. She moved to Pittsburgh, teaching at a hot yoga studio there, for several years before moving back to Salt Lake City. Throughout it all, her love of learning has led her through many different styles of yoga, and she is passionate about sharing it all with her students. What she hopes people take away from her classes is a separation from the distractions we face every day to gain a deeper understanding of our own minds and bodies. With that deeper understanding, we give ourselves more resilience for all of the challenges life throws our way.
